Obsequiosity

I could only go Friday and Ashleigh Ball and Tabitha St Germain didn't make it until Saturday, so my dreams of getting called Darling and Sugarcube were dashed to jagged pieces, or something.   Oh well, maybe next time.  Nicole Oliver signs her name with a little “PC for Princess Celestia” in a little heart. It is adorable.

Work is nuts.

I am nuts.

(No seriously, work has been crazy enough My wife talked my doc into putting me on the crazy pills. Zoloft makes my face tingly.)

But there is a light at the end of the tunnel and I will hopefully be drawing again by July.

*reads book*
"This guy says interior room backgrounds are typically rendered in single point perspective.   We'll see about that...."
*two weeks of methodically tracing perspective lines on pictures of living rooms*
"Maybe he's right..."
*goes back to book, project that originally prompted research on perspective is now three weeks late...*

Jackass noises, the bit with the plow, the friend zoning theme, hipsters with argyle cutie marks, dead on impressions of New Englanders impersonating muddled Vancouver impressions of a Tennesee/Texas mix accent and vice versa…

Easily the best episode of MLP since season two. Allow me a moment to geek out.

Still not dead.  Still not drawing.  

I have been tired.  Super tired.  Bright purple under the eyes, starting to hear stuff that isn't there tired.  Call in sick to work multiple days tired.  Wife was trying to talk my doc into prescribing crazy people pills tired.

There's a light at the end of the tunnel, but I haven't drawn squat in weeks.  Hope to start back up soon.

So on to less potentially depressing things:  how 'bout those Risky Business and Fear and Loathing references?  They named that one pony Bulk Biceps and he doesn't have a tragic HYPP backstory?
