Experimenting with a few mulitply and overlay layers on top of a pencil sketch.

One of the many ways I'm distracting myself from projects I should be working on is taking part in a Ponychan "Writer's Event".

In this case, the artists of /art/ were presented with a prompt: "sweet music", and tasked to draw something with that theme in a few days time. The writers of /fic/ were then shown the pictures and tasked to pick one and use it to write an original work of 2500 words or more.

The writers have a rather complicated judging system (this is their fifth contest, but the first involving the artists) to determine a winner the finalists are then submitted to the public for a vote.

If you hurry, you can vote on your favorite before Monday 8/20.

For the artists, it was simpler, the one to get the most people to use their picture as a prompt wins the gold medal.

I got a participation ribbon.
